Build a family of editable workshop symbols

Twelve consistent diagram symbols for a report or workshop, delivered as grouped native Excalidraw elements rather than a flattened picture.

What you need

An AI workspace that can create files and an Excalidraw editor.
The downloadable .excalidraw scene and its browser preview; no custom connector is required.

Bring your own material

Twelve concepts you want readers to recognize, such as question, source, finding, caveat, decision and next step.
One stroke color, a shared line weight and a 100×100 drawing area per symbol.

Name the visual vocabulary
List twelve distinct concepts and the context in which they will appear. Prefer simple functional symbols that remain understandable at small sizes.
Open the native starter
Download the .excalidraw file below. In Excalidraw, use the menu’s Open command to load it. Each symbol and its label are grouped; ungroup to edit an individual shape.
Adapt the family consistently
Use the prompt below with your concepts. Keep the symbols as native elements, with one color and a consistent stroke weight. Ask for both the editable scene and a preview.
Inspect and revise one symbol
Check the set together for size and meaning. Change one label and one shape color. Save, reopen and confirm both changes survived before considering the export complete.

STYLE AND FORMAT
One [stroke color], consistent 2px line weight, no gradients. Keep each symbol inside a 100×100 drawing area with a small inset so strokes are not clipped. Do not flatten the family into a raster image.

CHECKS
There must be exactly twelve distinct groups and twelve labels, unique element IDs, consistent color and stroke width, and geometry within each drawing area. Open the scene in Excalidraw, change a shape’s color and a label, save and reopen. Verify the edits survived. If you can only validate the format programmatically, state that limitation; do not claim you performed a browser interaction.

The official Excalidraw restore and serializeAsJSON functions restored all native elements, preserved a shape-color edit through save/reopen, and retained the twelve groups and text labels. This was a headless format check.

The scene contains 49 native elements in twelve distinct labeled groups.
All symbol geometry fits its drawing area and shares one stroke color and width.
A changed native shape color survived the official serializer/restore roundtrip; all groups and editable labels remained.
The HTML preview contains the same scene data and renders all twelve symbol groups in a simulated document.

Limits. These functional symbols adapt the idea of a consistent editable family. They do not recreate the original autumn icons or AI computer-use workflow. Automated format and geometry checks are distinct from a real editor interaction or a visual usability test; neither the original prompt’s repeatability nor reader comprehension is established.
