Set it up once

  1. Download and unzip the extension. Keep the folder somewhere permanent.
  2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped see-then-build-chrome folder.
  4. Reload X, then click the green See Then Build icon on a post. Sign in to See Then Build in Chrome if asked.

After a save, X shows “Added to See Then Build.” Your example is available in Bookmarks and My examples, with its own page, embed, notes and tags.

Already using the extension?

Download version 1.1 for background saves. Remove the version 1.0 extension in chrome://extensions, then use Load unpacked to select the new folder and reload X. Your saved examples, bookmarks, notes and tags stay in your See Then Build account.

Your collection stays yours

The extension saves only the post you click. It uses your normal See Then Build sign-in; it does not read passwords, authentication cookies, messages, or your private notes. Repeated clicks reuse the existing example.

Saves run in the background; you do not need a See Then Build tab open. If sign-in or Chrome’s cookie settings require a temporary connection tab, the extension opens one and closes it after saving. A tab you opened yourself stays yours. Sign-in in this app and sign-in in Chrome are separate.

This is an unpacked extension, ready to load in Chrome. It has not been published in the Chrome Web Store.
